it is through the inevitable tumults of the creative process and sharing one’s voice with the world that i found the true purpose of why i artistically express: to exist purely inside that white hot spark of creativity that cannot be squelched no matter the external reaction my work receives or the monsters under the bed that i must face. that resilient seed of creativity that grows solely for the sake of expressing the flowering of consciousness in infinite ways: sublime or repulsive, but always evolving. it is here that i find life, death, thrill, beauty, heartache, humility, courage, pain, and pleasure in perfect proportions to brew the stew of aliveness in my being. i am interested in the juncture of art and reality. as you make a film the process inevitably bleeds into concurrently architecting the seemingly objective world around you. i am interested in exploring that phenomenon and harnessing it intentionally—architecting new realities built from building blocks of light.
